A Conversation on Interfaith Just Peacemaking
Come and join the conversation about
Interfaith Just Peacemaking with Susan Thistlethwaite, Najeeba
Syeed-Miller, and our own Glen Stassen.
For many years, consensus has been forming around the “Just Peacemaking” paradigm, which highlights what can be done (and has worked historically) to stop wars from happening. The publishing of Interfaith Just Peacemaking this year marks a landmark in this progress.
The new volume holds contributions from some 27 scholars, each
supporting the practices of Just Peacemaking from within her or his own
Jewish, Christian, or Muslim tradition.
Susan teaches Theology at Chicago Theological Seminary and is the
editor of this volume. Najeeba teaches Interreligious Education at
Claremont School of Theology and is a Muslim contributor to the volume.
This event is sponsored by Fuller's Just Peacemaking Initiative.
