Fuller Southwest graduate discusses challenges and rewards of his work

Army Chaplain Jason Hohnberger, (MDiv ’09), a graduate of Fuller Southwest, was featured on CBS television’s network news discussing the nature of his chaplaincy work.
Interviewed by CBS’s Russ Mitchell for a segment titled “Army Chaplain Brings Peace to Troops” aired on Christmas day, Chaplain Hohnberger reflected on both the challenges and the profound rewards of serving his fellow soldiers as a chaplain.
Hohnberger, who returned recently from the battlefields of Afghanistan, is currently one of seven Army chaplains working at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
“My fight is for the hearts of the American soldier,” said Hohnberger, “to make sure that they’re filled with peace and not affected by terror.” Click here to see the interview
