On-Site MFT Clinical Supervisor

Reports To: Clinical Director of Fuller Psychological and Family Services (FPFS)
Summary:
The On-Site Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Clinical Supervisor is a position that is ideal for those desiring clinical office space in Pasadena and who have a strong interest in supervising and training new clinicians. Particularly, supervisors will need to be open to cultivating students’ abilities to integrate spirituality and psychotherapy.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain your practice within your office at the clinic with the intention of at least 15 contact hours per week. FPFS will provide some higher fee referrals (1-2 per month), though the clinician is primarily responsible for generating their case load
- Attend the FPFS weekly supervisor/team leader meetings (sup of sup), currently held Mondays at 11:00AM
- Provide 6 hours of direct supervision of practicum students or clinical trainees per week (this may include group and individual, based upon the needs of your supervision cohort and the discretion of the Clinical Director)
- Conduct quarterly evaluations of students/supervisees and submit them to the training director, including individual video case review and feedback
- Preferably provide 60 day notice in writing to the Clinical Director and Executive Director prior to terminating with the clinic, in order to meet ethical requirements of the profession regarding transfer of student supervision and client care
- Function as a team player at FPFS by complying with clinic policies and procedures and legal and ethical standards of your mental health profession
- Sign and adhere to the seminary’s Statement of Faith and Community Standards
- Maintain client files at FPFS during your employment and leave a copy of the files at FPFS when your employment ends
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Marriage and Family Therapy degree
- Be licensed in California for at least 2 years
- Extensive experience in individual psychotherapy and assessment in an outpatient clinic
- Have completed 6-unit CE in supervision soon after hire
- Prior supervision and training experience is an asset
Notes:
- The above expectations are meant to provide a framework for the clinic and potential on-site supervisors to be clear regarding mutual responsibilities. Both the FPFS Executive Director and the Clinical Director must approve your appointment

- This position is not eligible for Fuller's full-time benefits
On-Site Supervisor will receive:- Compensation at 85% of fees collected, as well as employee contributions to social security and Medicare (7.65%)
