“Can I Ask That? 8 Hard Questions About Life & Faith” Is Sticky Faith’s Newest Resource to Help Christian Teens with Difficult Questions
The Fuller Youth Institute’s newest resource in its Christian-teen-focused Sticky Faith line-up was just released this past Friday, March 7, and has already hit #1 (for the leader guide) and #2 (for the student guide) on Amazon.com in the youth ministry and children and teens subcategories. The resource, a small group curriculum titled Can I Ask That? 8 Hard Questions About God & Faith, was written by the Fuller Youth Institute’s Kara Powell and Brad Griffin and pastor Jim Candy.
The eight questions in the study guide address hot-button topics in areas from Christian ethics to pluralism to the authority of the Bible, including what the Bible says about being gay, whether someone can be a Christian and believe in evolution, and whether the Bible is trustworthy.
Amazon reviewer michaeldeprez writes, “After having worked with students in churches for years, one things is clear: They have questions about God, and often times theyre very, very difficult to answer. This book is incredibly helpful in allowing students (and adults) to process legitimate questions that we all have. One of the things I love most about this book are the suggestions at the beginning about how to engage in this conversation with students. The authors were very careful not to assume the leader has extensive experience leading groups or discussions like this. . . .”
