The Admissions Liaison supports the mission of Fuller Theological Seminary to assist prospective students in exploring Fuller Seminary’s graduate programs through multiple communication avenues including in-person, phone, email, chat, mail, and event interactions.

Essential Functions

  • Contribute to a hospitable environment by providing exceptional customer service by establishing the “first-face” of Fuller
  • Respond to in-person, email, telephone, Live Chat, online, and mail inquiries
  • Advise a diverse group of prospective students regarding various degrees, programs, and purposes, recommending programs compatible with various personal interests, and ascertaining high prospects
  • Input data into SRM and manage website content
  • Initiate and strengthen relationships with various departments and professors on campus in relation to position’s tasks
  • Give campus and housing tours to prospective students
  • Work all prospective student campus events with Admissions staff
  • Assist with front desk duties including filing, mail, and other tasks
  • Attend Admissions and Prospective Student Liaison team meetings as well as Admissions related events
  • Help cover night shift duties when needed (Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm)
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Self-starter with a desire for teamwork
  • Proficiency with Word applications and E-mail
  • Proficiency with web applications (i.e. Live Chat and Blogs)
  • Basic website development skills a plus
  • Ability to type 45+ words per minute is preferred
  • Student in the School of Theology or Intercultural Studies preferred
  • Enthusiasm for Fuller and a strong motivation to serve the needs of a diverse prospective student body including a large International population

Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. Federal Work-Study positions are open only to qualified U.S. Citizens and permanent residents whose eligibility to participate in the Work-Study program has been determined in advance by the seminary's Student Financial Services office


  • Must be able to have daily work hours and be able to cover some shifts at night (Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm)
  • Must be able to attend Friday morning meetings (8:00am-10:00am) and all prospective student events (some nights and weekends)
