Videographer and Editor (Work Study)

This position will record and post-produce the weekly session of All-Seminary Chapel during regularly scheduled hours. This person will devote their Wednesday (8am-5pm) to provide video/editorial support. They will set up two cameras, record, then edit the service in post and have it uploaded to all major media sites by 3:00 p.m. On rare occasion, extra hours may be gained by substituting as an extra cameraperson for the Communications and Marketing department during major quarterly events and projects.

Essential Functions


  • Set up and tear down of various video equipment(s)
  • Recording and capturing of Chapel service
  • Basic understanding of editing software required
  • Edit and post video content for all relevant online media channels such as YouTube, Vimeo, and ItunesU (Fuller’s official channels and other trending platforms identified)

Secondary Functions

  • Understanding of short form content editing
  • Knowledge of video file formats and encoding types for online distribution methods
  • Knowledge of Social Media/Online distribution methods


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field
  • Two years’ experience in a production and post-production environment
  • Excellent filming and editing skills
  • Ability to set up and tear down video and audio equipment
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds required
  • Experienced fluency and personal use with using a range of media hosting sites, including YouTube, Vimeo, ItunesU, etc.
  • Web posting experience a plus but not necessary
  • Familiarity with Fuller Seminary programs and culture
  • Commitment to serving on a team with grace and civility
  • Ability to work independently and as a consistent self-starter

Special Requirements

Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. Federal Work-Study positions are open only to qualified U.S. Citizens and permanent residents whose eligibility to participate in the Work-Study program has been determined in advance by the seminary's Student Financial Services office
