THE SCHOOL OF PSYCHOLOGY AT FULLER SEMINARY invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated excellence in teaching and research in applied developmental psychology with an area of specialization related to the mission and purpose of our Thrive Center for Human Development such as positive youth development, virtue and character strengths, and religious and spiritual development.
Responsibilities include maintaining a productive program of applied research, graduate level teaching, research mentoring and service to the field and the seminary. The successful applicant will contribute to the Thrive Center’s applied research activities, develop his or her own line of research and dissemination activities, and develop a network of partnerships for the applied work of the Thrive Center (e.g., educators, schools, youth-serving organizations).
Qualified applicants will have a PhD or PsyD and a strong research record.
Must be willing to sign Fuller’s Statement of Faith. All teaching and management positions are restricted to persons who will affirm in writing the Statement of Faith of Fuller Theological Seminary
