Application Requirements

All Applicants

  • Completed and signed Application for Admission, including:
    • Religious Autobiography, parts A and B
    • A $25 nonrefundable application fee
  • Submission of an official transcript showing a bachelor's degree earned from an accredited institution, with a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 or above (3.0 or above if applying for the Certificate in Marriage and Family Enrichment). Additional transcripts may be requested if a large amount of coursework was transferred.
    • If you do not currently hold an accredited bachelor's or master's degree or will not receive an accredited bachelor's or master's degree before the desired term of entry, you may be eligible to apply as a Special Student. Click here for more information.
  • A pastor or denominational leader reference
  • Certificate in Church Planting applicants only: You must either be actively engaged in or intending to engage in church planting. You will also be required to have an interview with the Church Planting Program Director.
  • If you are interested in taking any classes in English and your native language is not English, please click here for English language requirements.

U.S. Permanent Residents and International Applicants

  • If you are a Permanent Resident of the United States, you must submit a copy of your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) to the Office of Admissions. No Declaration of Financial Support is required.
  • Certificate of Christian Studies applicants only: Those applicants who are neither a Permanent Resident nor citizen of the United States should be in contact with the International Services Office regarding the Declaration of Financial Support and Student Visa before beginning on-campus studies in Pasadena. Please click here for additional information.

If you are seeking a Student Visa from Fuller, you may only apply to the Certificate of Christian Studies program. International students seeking a student visa may not seek admission to other certificate programs or as a Limited Enrollment Student.

Spring 2017

  • Deadline: February 17, 2017*
  • Orientation: March 24, 2017
  • 10-Week Classes Begin: March 27, 2017

Summer 2017

  • Deadline: May 12, 2017*
  • Orientation: September 18-22, 2017**
  • 10-Week Classes Begin: June 19, 2017

* International applicants residing outside the U.S. must submit completed applications by March 24, 2017.
** New student orientation for Pasadena campus students beginning studies in the Summer will be held at the same time as Fall Quarter orientation.

Fall 2017

  • Deadline: August 11, 2017*
  • Orientation: September 18-22, 2017
  • 10-Week Classes Begin: September 25, 2017

* International applicants residing outside the U.S. must submit completed applications by March 31, 2017.

Winter 2018

  • Deadline: November 3, 2017*
  • Orientation: January 2, 2018
  • 10-Week Classes Begin: January 2, 2018

* International applicants residing outside the U.S. may only apply for the Fall quarter.


Applicants are notified of admission decisions, in most cases, around four weeks following the completion of an application file. Some programs require that an enrollment deposit be paid within 30 days of notification of acceptance. The enrollment deposit will be applied toward the first quarter's tuition and is nonrefundable.
