Biographical Information

Dr. Michael G. Bischof (MDiv, DMin) is founder and president of SOULeader Resources, an interdenominational ministry established in 2000 to empower transformational wholeness in leaders, churches, and organizations. Michael addresses a variety of topics on formation from a holistic perspective—spiritual, emotional, relational, mental, physical, and missional. His passion is awareness and integration of all the dimensions of the person and how this impacts leadership.

Born and raised in Southern California, Bischof has spent over 25 years pastoring and church planting in eight different churches and three parachurch organizations. In addition to his work with SOULeader, he is also lead pastor of Tree of Life Community, a young church plant/merge in Orange County, California, committed to creating a community of students of Jesus on mission. He is adjunct assistant professor of spirituality at Fuller Theological Seminary and also an adjunct at Azusa Pacific University’s School of Theology.

He has been married for almost 30 years and has two grown children. His hobbies are reading broadly, travel, snowboarding powder, and biking both road and mountain.
