Biographical Information

Dr. Peter Hintzoglou was born in Athens, Greece with the dream of coming to the States to study for the ministry. In 1961 God opened the door for him to come to Barrington College in Rhode Island where he majored in Philosophy and Biblical Studies. He received his BA with summa cum laude. He was accepted with scholarship at Fuller Seminary where he was TA for Dr. William LaSor in the languages department, and Dr. Paul Jewett in Systematic Theology. Upon graduation with the doctorate of Pastoral Theology D.Th.P, he continued to teach Greek and Hermeneutics for Extended Education. Dr. Hintzoglou has served as Senior pastor in several Presbyterian churches and has served as adjunct faculty since 1970 in Southern California Coast, South West Phoenix area, and Menlo Park campuses of Fuller Seminary. He has taught N.T. Greek, Pastoral Theology, Exegetical Method, I Corinthians, Homiletics and Preaching Practicum.

He is married to Elaine and they both have two children and five grandchildren.
