Career Summary
Bob Anderson gained his formal education at Claremont McKenna College (business) and the Harvard Business School OPM program. In 1974, he took over the ownership of Anderson & Anderson Insurance Brokers, Inc., a local insurance broker, and turned it into the 55th largest broker in the country, selling it in 1997 to Aon Corporation, the nation’s biggest insurance broker. Unsatisfied with retirement, Bob is a full-time consultant with five different entities in the insurance and technology space.

Bob has a special interest in a very specific “workplace ministry.” Since September 1999, he has provided leadership to a cooperative program of inquiry on the nature of biblical underpinnings to the role of the entrepreneur, especially in creating new customer innovation. The De Pree Center has been the other half of this effort, blending the best in theological thinking with hopefully the best minds in business. Out of this effort, Christian Entrepreneur Organization (CEO), a 501c3 nonprofit corporation, was formed and operated until 2009. Then the CEO nonprofit evolved into the Forum of Christian Business Leaders.

Bob is also focused on various forms of distance learning, including distributing live classes through video conferencing. Fuller’s first remote project in video conferencing with a location other than a regional campus takes place at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
