Aly Zadurowicz

Assistant Director, MAGL/DMiss

Role in MAGL

I work with many behind the scenes, infrastructure items. These range from planning and scheduling (faculty, MAGL seminars, application deadlines), to office functions (budgets, payments, database, staff events), to student engagement (student evaluations, eNewsletters, website). I often try to bring further clarity to systems our students encounter and will probably be at your first seminar with a word or two on grants.

You may occasionally receive an email from me about some special news or needed input, and/or you may find I'm the person picking up the phone one day when you call the office.

I'm from the east coast of the US and was raised in a Conservative Jewish home. Having come to know Messiah from within a Jewish framework, I began serving the Lord with a Messianic singing/dancing/testimony ministry in the US and abroad for 10 years, sharing the Good News from a Jewish perspective. During one such outreach, I met Tomek and we've been married now for 17 years. We incorporated Messiah's Harvest and for years worked with Russian Jews in the Caucasus region of the FSU.

My under grad was in Hotel and Restaurant Management, as I loved hospitality and meeting people from around the world. After I came to know the Lord, I wanted to know more about faith, theology and history. I enrolled at Fuller and completed my MA in Theology in 2003. I was able to take electives from the School of Intercultural studies as well, so I studied leadership and character, contemporary culture and such. During my time in Pasadena I served as student chair of the Multicultural Concerns group, part of the All Seminary Council (ASC). I began working for Fuller in 2004 in what was then Distance Learning (IDL, Fuller Online, MAGL). Since then I've held various administrative positions within the department working with students, faculty and staff. in 2009 Tomek and I moved to CO where I continue to serve with the MAGL as well as the DMiss (Doctor of Missiology) program.

I have an appreciation for all that makes individuals unique so if you start speaking Meyers-Briggs, Strength Finders, DiSC profile, I'm all ears! Some of my hobbies include researching my family tree, bridge building between traditions, hiking, photography, thrift shopping, cooking and watching films with my creative husband. I admit that the Hallmark characters, Hoops & YoYo, are a special favorite and that I post an inordinate amount of puppy pictures on my Facebook page.
