Program Assistant, MAGL/DMiss

Role in MAGL

I'm new to the team, serving at the MAGL/DMiss Office in Colorado Springs at the front desk. If you call or email the office, I will most likely be the voice on the other end.

I also serve the MAGL team with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that enable each one to focus in on their responsibilities. From post office runs, to running reports, to helping us stay current in social media.

I'm the most recent addition to the MAGL team, having just joined this fall of 2013. After completing my BA in Communications at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, I was excited to learn about the MAGL Program Assistant position at Fuller Seminary and quickly applied.

I was born in Trujillo, Peru and grew up in Pasadena, California. Before moving to Colorado in 2008, my family and I started a Christian, Latino newspaper for the Hispanic community of Southern California. To this day, I fondly recall sitting in the living room with my siblings, helping to hand fold newspaper by newspaper. In Colorado Springs, I helped to co-found Iglesia El Centro where I currently serves as Worship Leader and Music Director. I spent that last three years of college as Assistant Director of Operations at a local rock climbing gym where I discovered my love of the outdoors. I enjoy salsa dancing, fireplaces in the wintertime, rock climbing, and the ease of speaking Spanglish.

I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life and am excited to serve the MAGL program and its students.
