Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies (Korean Language)

Thank you for visiting the School of Intercultural Studies Korean Studies (SISKS) Program.  The Korean Studies Program provides three degrees taught in Korean language: Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies (MAICS), Master of Theology in Missiology (ThM), and Doctor of Ministry in Global Ministry (DMin).  There are approximately 250 active students in the degree programs.  Students come from 34 countries around the world, speaking 32 languages.  Our students are comprised of missionaries, mission organization leaders, local church pastors, lay leaders in mission, and professional tent-makers.

Through the Korean Studies Program, students will gain a confidence in their God-given capacity and responsibility in understanding their own spiritual pilgrimage. Practically, students will expand their ability to understand their context, biblical text and community in missiological perspectives. Also, through our diverse community students have the opportunity to increase their own various networks, resulting in a wider array of global partners from local church leaders/volunteers to foreign missionaries.

The Korean Studies Program is committed to the cause of strengthening the relationship between the Korean Church Community and Fuller Theological Seminary through the spiritual and professional development of church leaders, missionaries, and organizational leaders in academia.
