Conversation 2 with Palestinian-Israeli Peacemaker Salim Munayer
Come and join in conversation with Salim Munayer during his sojourn in Pasadena. This is the second of two conversations with Salim about his theology of and work in reconciliation.
Salim is a Palestinian-Israeli peacemaker from Lod, an instructor at Bethlehem Bible College, and the founder of Musalaha,
a non-profit organization that seeks to promote reconciliation between
Israelis and Palestinians as demonstrated in the life and teaching of
Jesus. Musalaha is known for its summer camps that bring Israeli and
Palestinian children together and help them practice peacemaking from an
early age. Salim will teach in the School of Intercultural Studies from
October 22 through November 2 and appear as part of the peacemaking
travel seminar offered by Glen Stassen in the School of Theology during
the 2013 Summer Quarter.
