Fuller Theological Seminary's Just Peacemaking Initiative, Reel Spirituality,
and the First Baptist Church of Pasadena
are pleased to invite you to a special screening of
Just Vision's latest award-winning film

My Neighbourhood

followed by a lively discussion with award-winning filmmaker
and Executive Director of Just Vision, Ronit Avni.

From the critically acclaimed creators of Encounter Point and Budrus and directed by Julia Bacha and Rebekah Wingert-Jabi, My Neighbourhood tells the story of a remarkable nonviolent campaign in the heart of Jerusalem. View the trailer here.

The Film
My Neighbourhood chronicles the story of Mohammed El Kurd, a Palestinian teenager whose family is forced to share a section of their East Jerusalem home with Israeli settlers. When Israeli activists arrive in his neighborhood to join residents in protests against the settlements, Mohammed comes of age in the midst of unrelenting tension with his neighbors and unexpected cooperation with Israeli allies in his backyard. My Neighbourhood premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2012, and has since been screened at prominent venues including the Paley Center for Media, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, the Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival and the European Parliament.
