About the J-1 Visa

The J-1 visa is a non-immigrant visa issued to qualified persons coming to the United States to pursue an approved Exchange Visitor program. If you are a student admitted to a degree program at Fuller Seminary and are financially sponsored by your government, the U.S. government, OR an organization (including scholarships and fellowships), you may be eligible for a J-1 visa.

Questions regarding your eligibility can be directed to the International Services Office.
