Admissions Requirements: 

  • A Master of Divinity or its equivalent, or a Master of Arts of a theological nature of at least 96 quarter units (64 semester units) from an approved school. For M.Div. equivalency contact an advisor at 626.584.5318 or dmin-advising@fuller.edu.  
  • A ministerial leadership position. The DMin program is designed for ministry leaders to continue to learn and grow without having to leave their ministry context. 
  • A minimum of three years ministerial leadership experience after receiving the M.Div. or M.A. degree. 
  • A grade point average of 3.0 or higher (3.0 on 4.0 scale) 
  • Biblical language studies in Greek or Hebrew (This requirement may be met through a course in the D.Min. program.) 
  • Evidence of academic writing proficiency (see the online application for details).  
  • A TOEFL score of 600 (paper test) OR 250 (computer test) OR 100 (internet test) is required for applicants for whom English is a second language and who have not earned a Bachelor degree taught in English in the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, or Canada. The TOEFL’s web site is www.toefl.com. Note: Applicants for the Latino Ministry Cohort are not required to take the TOEFL exam.

*Auditors who wish to participate in courses are required to complete pre-seminar reading and participate in the full schedule of the course.

 

Financial Aid 

Grants: The Doctor of Ministry Office has a limited number of need-based grants available to students. For details download the grant form HERE.

Loans: Fuller DMin students are not eligible to participate in federal student aid programs. Alternative student loan funding sources will remain available to eligible students. For details contact Student Financial Services.

Payment Options: Course Registration takes place online, with tuition payment due and payable on or before the first day of class. Registrations for Independent Studies, the Theology of Ministry course, and Final Projects may be done at any point in the quarter. Tuition must be paid at the time of registration either online or by check.

 

  • Tuition rates subject to change each June.
  • To avoid tuition increase, participants may prepay the entire 48 or 76 units at the time of their first course, using the current tuition rate.
  • All student accounts must be paid in full and all prior coursework must be submitted before registering for or attending another course.
