DESCRIPTION:2023 코리안센터 심포지엄 | KSC SYMPOSIUM 2023\n한국적 상황에서의 영성 형성의 미래 | The Future of Spiritual Formation in the Korean Context\n2023년 4월 19–20일 | April 19–20\, 2023\n한국 기독교의 특징 중 하나는 설립 초기부터 영성 형성을 강조하고 성경 연구에 전념한다는 점입니다. 성경공부 모임인 사경회에서 시작된 한국 개신교의 일련의 부흥운동은 20세기 초 국가적 위기에 대한 독특한 영적\, 문화적 대응이었습니다. 부흥회는 한국 기독교인들이 어려움 속에서도 당당하게 복음을 전하고 믿음을 지킬 수 있는 열정을 가져왔습니다. 따라서 영성 형성은 데이비드 베빙턴의 복음주의의 네 가지 특징(성서주의\, 십자가 중심주의\, 회심주의\, 행동주의)과 함께 한국 복음주의 기독교의 일부로 여겨져 왔습니다. 그러나 최근 한국교회 상황의 많은 변화에 비추어 볼 때 영성에 대한 전통적 실천과 이해는 현대적 상황에 맞게 재검토와 수정이 필요합니다. \n이번 심포지엄은 교회\, 선교사 및 기독교 단체의 사역에 통찰력을 제공하기 위해 한국적 상황에서 기독교 영성의 이론과 실천을 논의하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 우리는 한국과 미국에서 이 분야의 뛰어난 학자들을 강사로 초빙하여 신학적\, 성경적\, 심리학적\, 사회학적 관점에서 주제를 검토하는 강의들을 구성하였습니다. \n이번 심포지엄 기간 동안 있을 주제강의\, 사례발표\, 전체 토론 등을 통해 지역교회 목회자들 간의 깊이 있고 실질적인 대화를 함으로 학자 및 지도자들과 교류할 수 있는 좋은 기회를 얻으실 수 있습니다. 등록을 위해 한국어 이벤트 정보와 등록안내를 방문하세요: 등록 정보 \n\nFrom the start of its establishment\, one of the distinctive hallmarks of Korean Christianity is its emphasis on spiritual formation\, along with its dedication to the study of the Bible. As a unique spiritual and cultural response to the national crisis in the early 20th century\, a series of revivals took place in Korean Protestant churches\, which started from sagyeonghoe\, a gathering of Bible study groups. The revival meetings brought an enthusiasm which made it possible for Korean Christians to confidently spread the gospel and keep their faith even in difficult times. As a result\, spiritual formation has been regarded as part and parcel of Korean evangelical Christianity\, in addition to David Bebbington’s four characteristics of evangelicalism (biblicalism\, crucicentrism\, conversionism\, and activism). However\, in light of the many changes in the Korean church context in recent years\, the traditional practice and understanding of spirituality requires re-examination and revision for the contemporary context.  \nThe symposium\, to be partly live-translated into English\, aims to discuss the theory and practice of Christian Spirituality in Korean context in order to provide insights for the ministries of the church\, missionaries\, and other parachurch organizations. The symposium will feature outstanding scholars on the subject area\, both from Korea and the US\, as plenary lecturers\, while breakout sessions will allow for examination of the topic from theological\, biblical\, psychological\, and sociological perspectives.  \nThis event offers a great opportunity to interact with scholars and leaders through in-depth practical conversations between local church pastors\, thematic lectures\, case study presentations\, and plenary discussions.
