Fuller Theological Seminary Announces the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Centro Latino

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Centro Latino at Fuller Theological Seminary, a milestone that celebrates half a century of theological education and ministerial transformation among Latino leaders in the United States and globally. Since its inception in 1974, Centro Latino has been a catalyst for spiritual and academic growth for hundreds of students and professionals.

To commemorate this significant milestone, Fuller Theological Seminary is thrilled to invite past and present students, faculty, staff, and friends to a Gala Dinner on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Fuller Theological Seminary campus in Pasadena, California.

Dr. Samuel Pagán, a distinguished biblical scholar and theologian, will serve as the keynote speaker at the event. His insights and contributions to Latino theological education have been instrumental in shaping the center’s curriculum and outreach.

“The Gala Dinner not only celebrates the past achievements of our Centro Latino but also aims to propel us into the future with renewed commitment,” said Dr. Pagán. “We look forward to gathering with those who have been part of our journey and those who support our mission.”

The event will also feature the launch of the Book of Gratitude and Honor, a special initiative to commemorate the personal and professional impacts of Centro Latino. Attendees and supporters are invited to contribute to this book, which will be available digitally and displayed during the gala. Each donation made through the Gratitude and Honor Cards will directly support the Centro Latino Scholarship Fund, aiding Latino leaders in their master’s and doctoral theological studies.
