MISSION

The Sexual Wellness Lab is dedicated to advancing integrative, evidence-based understandings of sexuality that honor the whole person (biological, psychological, social, and spiritual), relational systems, and communities, for the sake of human flourishing and the glory of God.

Key areas of interest include:

- Advancing the concept of sexual wellness, especially in relation to faith formation for individuals at different life stages and with diverse experiences and backgrounds, including singles, couples, and sexual minorities.

- Developing culturally and spiritually inclusive frameworks for sexual wellness that resonate with interdisciplinary research, principles of sex therapy, therapeutic models, and ethical, competent care.

- Fostering dialogue that transcends division—supporting healing, inclusion, and the development of spiritually grounded, psychologically informed approaches to sexuality that emphasize embodiment, stewardship, mutuality, and relational thriving.
