About Brad
Brad Campbell is a PhD student in Theology and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary. He holds a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and a Master of Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Brad currently serves as the Creative Arts Director at Plainfield Christian Church in Plainfield, Indiana, where he leads the congregation in worship and develops practices that connect ancient traditions of the church with contemporary expressions of faith.
Brad’s research interests lie at the intersection of contemporary praise and worship, lyrical theology, and the rise of Christian nationalism. His work explores how the songs that shape modern worship not only form theological imagination but also reflect and influence broader cultural identities. He is particularly interested in how worship practices can be both a site of theological instruction and a lens through which communities negotiate questions of belonging, power, and hope.
