About Jee Hae

Hello, I’m Jee Hae Lee from South Korea. Prior to beginning my doctoral studies at Fuller Seminary, I served as a policy advisor in the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea for six years. Following my mother’s passing in 2008, I embarked on a theological journey that led me to Fuller’s Ph.D. program in Intercultural Studies under the guidance of Dr. Kirsteen Kim. Initially, I was motivated to honor the legacy of women ministers like my mother, but my research has evolved to focus specifically on gender injustice within the Korean Presbyterian Church. Instead of pursuing ordained ministry, I have been serving within the church community, particularly as a helper for the disabled community.
