About Jose
Jose is a Ph.D. student in Intercultural Studies whose research focuses on decolonial missiology, biblical hermeneutics, and Christian mission in contexts shaped by colonial legacies. His work centers on Puerto Rico as a liminal site for theological reflection and examines Acts 10–11:18 as a decolonial hermeneutical resource for reimagining mission, mutuality, power, culture and Spirit-led inclusion in the life of the church.
He brings over two decades of executive and intercultural leadership experience, having served on the executive team of an IT consulting firm in the Caribbean and later joining Logos, where he currently serves as Manager of the International Markets Department, advancing global biblical accessibility through technology.
Jose holds an MAT in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and a ThM in Intercultural Hermeneutics from Perkins School of Theology. He lives in Orlando, Florida, with his wife and two daughters.
