About William

I am phenotypically black, culturally Kenyan, and linguistically bilingual. I was born and raised in a multiethnic family and educated in cross-cultural Christian academies in Kenya and the USA. I am married to Magdalene Wangari, a Marriage and Family Therapist, and together we raise two children. My Christian faith developed during adolescence through inquiry and intellectual curiosity. I currently serve as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant and Classroom AV Technology Associate at Fuller Seminary. I am also the Founding President of Amani Complex International (USA and Kenya). In addition, I am an ordained minister, a ruling elder, and have over ten years of experience in church planting, pastoral leadership, and non‑profit management. Beyond academic and ministerial work, I coach soccer with AYSO and enjoy outdoor adventure.
