Bio

Dr. Hyuna Lee earned her B.A. in Social Work from Kangnam University, where she also completed her M.S.W. and D.S.W. in Clinical Social Work. Dr. Lee has served as a clinical social worker and researcher within Korean communities, focusing on older adults, people with disabilities, and their families. Her work bridges clinical social work and community-based research, integrating practical experience with academic inquiry. Currently, Dr. Lee serves as a faculty member in the Department of Social Work at World Mission University and as the Program Director of the DSLIM Foundation, where she continues to teach, conduct research, and develop community-based social welfare programs for immigrant populations. Her main research areas include aging and gerontology, disability studies, cultural and immigrant community research, mental health, program development and evaluation, research methodology, and interdisciplinary studies.
