Bio

Rev. Joseph W. Handley, Jr., Ph.D. has devoted his life to accelerating leaders for mission. He is the president/CEO of A3, a global network that equips leaders: see (A3Leaders.org) and (A3.business). He serves as a Global Catalyst for Leadership with the Lausanne Movement and as affiliated faculty for Fuller Theological Seminary as well as a tutor for the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies. Prior, Joe was the founding director of Azusa Pacific University’s Office of World Mission and lead mission pastor at Rolling Hills Covenant Church. Joe and his wife, Silk, have served together in mission for over 30 years, living in Los Angeles, Istanbul and Tokyo. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Joe is the author of Leading Well in Times of Disruption (Langham) and Polycentric Mission Leadership (Regnum). He’s currently working on a new project on Polycentric Mission for InterVarsity Press as well.
