Bio

Following the death of one of her children, Olive Fleming Drane never returned to her early career in physics and medical research but found herself with a unique calling to combine clowning and Christian ministry. She has shared her story around the world, in churches of many traditions as well as seminaries and universities. She first taught at Fuller Seminary in 1994, with courses specializing in the creative arts as well as mission, evangelism and spirituality. She is married to John, with whom she shares a love of travel and gardening and currently lives in her native Scotland, where she teaches occasional courses for the University of Glasgow. She is also a visiting fellow at St John’s College in the University of Durham.
